Introduction
When I started to read Psalms, I did not pay attention that there are some verses in that book inform us to read every day the 10 Commandments. But after a few years, then I decided to follow it and now I read 10 Commandments every day. It is also a part of most powerful prayer to God. You can mix it with all types of prayers. Nobody asked me to do so but when you become to be adult and focus to your reading, then you have to follow on it and to do that is right for God. These 10 Laws are reading and mixing with your daily prayer for every day. Ten Commandments you must read every day is in Exodus 20: 2-17. In my side, I try to put the Name of God. And that is right because ten Commandments without God' Name is not advised.
Ten Commandments You Must Read Every Day
-You shall have no other gods before me.
You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, Ehieh Asher Ehieh your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
-You shall not misuse the name of Ehieh Asher Ehieh your God, for Ehieh Asher Ehieh will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
-Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Ehieh Asher Ehieh your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. For in six days Ehieh Asher Eheih made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore Ehieh Asher Ehieh blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
-Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land Ehieh Asher Eheih your Father is giving you.
-You shall not murder.
-You shall not commit adultery.
-You shall not steal.
-You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
-You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to yours neighbor.
Why We Must read The Ten Commandments?
-When you read ten Commandments, you agree honestly that you are son of God and accept that Father guides your life. This is also a kind of most powerful prayer to God.
-As I said in introduction, the book of Psalms 1:2 informs clearly ...'But his delight and desire in the law of Father, and His law he habitually meditates by day and night.' Pray Jesus Christ.
-In Psalms 1:3 'And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.' Here the Eternal said clearly that anyone who pays attention on His Law during his life will always receive blessing from The Eternal. That is the answer of how to pray for result. All types of prayers which are gone to Amen will be back to you with very good result.
When We Read It?
The best time to read it is in morning during your morning prayer, and when you are staying at home during week-end, holidays and public holidays. Mix it with your your daily prayers everyday life.
Conclusion
10 Commandments are Law of the Eternal. As Christians, we must find a few minutes every day to read it and to pay attention on it. Because it guides us every day and keeps us away from sins. Priests will not advise you to read it, but you have to do it to avoid misinterpretation of Bible. Don't hesitate to share this Good News! Ten Commandments make strong your powerful prayer that work and lead your life to breakthrough pray for all situation. Pray to Jesus Christ.
